Home-based Super Eagles players are yet to
receive their bonuses and camp allowances days after their exit from the
African Nations Championship in Rwanda, reports
Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Eagles were eliminated from the competition after losing their last group game 1-0 against Guinea.
They blamed their failure to go beyond the group stage at the biennial competition on lack of motivation.
"We have not been paid our bonuses and allowances," a member of the squad disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com on the condition of anonymity.
"They (the officials) requested that we submitted our account numbers before we left Kigali, but we have not heard from them since we came back home.
"We are not happy with the situation as nobody has deemed it fit to contact us and inform us on the true picture of things.
"You can imagine us staying in camp all through December in Abuja and then to South Africa without having anything to show for it.
"Most of us arrived in Nigeria with nothing to give to our families. "
